QuickCalc is an independent set of free calculators focused on UK and international personal finance and everyday planning. Every tool runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript — nothing is uploaded and we never see your inputs.
The calculators and the explanatory text on this site are produced by the QuickCalc Editorial Team. Our small editorial team combines practical experience with UK personal-finance research and builds every calculator to follow the published HMRC and GOV.UK rules for the current tax year. We are not a regulated financial adviser, accountant or tax agent; we are a calculator publisher that explains the maths behind common UK tax, salary, property and pension questions.
The editorial team is led by a UK-based content lead with a background in personal finance writing and numeracy tooling. Where a topic touches regulated advice, we deliberately stop short of giving personal recommendations and instead point you to the official source.
QuickCalc is an independent website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), GOV.UK, or any government body. We link to official sources so you can verify any figure yourself. The authoritative sources we rely on include GOV.UK — Income Tax, GOV.UK — Stamp Duty Land Tax, and GOV.UK — VAT rates.
This site shows advertising (Google AdSense) so the calculators can stay free. Ads are clearly separated from the tools.
We do our best to keep rates and bands current, but tax legislation changes and individual circumstances differ. These calculators are intended as general guidance only — they do not cover every allowance, relief or edge case (for example pension salary sacrifice, tax-code adjustments, marriage allowance, or devolved Welsh/Lambeth rates beyond the scope stated on each page). Always confirm important figures with the official source (HMRC) or a qualified adviser before filing a return or making a financial decision.
For questions, corrections or to report a broken calculator, email hello@calculatorsuk.com. Because all calculations run on your device, we never see your inputs and cannot recover anything you entered.
